Janey is our herd queen and demands to be treated as such! Her first freshening brought us a couple of really nice kids, unfortunately for us they weren't doelings. The 2 wethers, named Elliot and Gunther, are in the Exotic Animal Training & Management program at Moorpark College. We repeating the breeding for 2011, and yet again, 2 bucklings were born. We've retained RHV CS Prince Charming as a herdsire.
Hoping for a doe to retain, we bred Janey to RHV CTO Cointreau *B, a linebreeding on Agape Oaks FC Miracle +B. Janey delivered a lovely pair of doelings and a buckling. We've retained her daughter, RHV CNT Grace, a lovely doe who favors her dam.
Janey has been quite productive for us, and finished her 305 day lactation with her *M and AR. Her udder looks great, and I expect with future freshenings her production levels will only increase.
