Thunderball's dam was evaluated in our 2014 linear appraisal with a very respectable VEVV 88 10 months into her 2nd lactation! She is also a very productive doe, being a daughter of Cento, with her first freshening lactation at 412 DIM, 650#; 36# bf (5.5%); 27# protein (4.2%). Her second lactation has completed even better: 441 DIM; 1320#; 79# bf (5.98%) 56# protein (4.24%). Thunderball's sire is a son of Cento, therefore Thunderball is tightly linebred on our boy SG Rosasharn BB Cento ++*B (++*B Rosasharn WT B-Bo x 2010 National GCH and multi-year Top Ten producing doe SG Rosasharn P Haiku 4*M). He should consistently offer plenty of milk through his daughters!
After nursing Thunderball through a life-threatening battle with Listeriosis, we've decided to retain this boy.
Update 2/2018: I've gone back and forth in my head about selling this boy. I've got way more bucks than I need! I have 3 daughters of Thunderball's, born 2017, who didn't sell for some reason, which is allowing me to watch them mature, and WOW!!! These girls really have width in the rear which is something that I like to see.
